It starts with human vision to monitor, scanners, proofers and finally to printing press or web or multimedia the nuances of the prepress and printing. Content

Graphic Art Fundamentals
Colour theory, vision theory, printing processes, scanning, capturing images, UCR, GCR, moire´, colour correction and optimization.

Output Fundamentals
Fonts, postscript, PDF/X Standards, pre-flighting, digital screening processes, imposition, RIP (Raster Image Processing), paper and ink, post- press treatments.


Digital Processing
Electronic images – Vector and Bitmap, file formats, compression, processing applications, web graphics.

Digital Colour Management
Use of spectrophotometers, building ICC profiles for scanners, monitors and output devises like proofers, printers, presses, etc., Editing ICC profiles, use of profiles in applications, ICC workflows, proofing, soft proofing, hard proofing, remote proofing, modern RGB workflow, process control, advantages of CMS and ROI.

Eligibility
Digiscape's diploma in Digital prepress or Graphics editing or diploma/degree in printing or minimum one year work experience in prepress/printing/publishing industry.
